    • William Findlater - Death of William Findlater - The death took place at Wingham on Friday, April 29th, of William Findlater, a former resident of this section, in his 83rd year. Deceased had been ill for some time. He was a carpenter by trade and lived in Ayr in his younger days. He is survived by six children. His wife predeceased him about two years. Mr. John Findlater, North Dumfries, is a brother, while Messrs. Lyon Findlater and J. A. Manson of the same township are nephews and Miss Bessie Manson, a niece. The gentlemen above named attended the funeral on Sunday.
