  FRANKLIN, Mary (Mrs. Alvin) Peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Westmount Long Term Care, Kitchener. Mary (Scroggie) Franklin in her 90th year of Elmira. Mary was born in Winterbourne, daughter of the late Edward and Ida (Sugg) Scroggie. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Franklin (1987). Loving mother of Le-Roy Franklin of Alberta. Mary is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren John and Chris Franklin, Jennifer Franklin, Stacey and David Vickery and the late Brett Franklin. Loving sister of Leone and Ron Goodwin of Midland. Mary will be missed by her many nieces and nephews; Pat Birmingham; and her great-grandchildren Bradley, Brianna, Nicholaus and Cara. Predeceased by her brothers Alex and Richard Scroggie, her sister Florence Scroggie and daughter-in-law Eunice Franklin. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira, on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. followed by interment in the Elmira Union Cemetery. In her memory, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
