- Sim, Martha (nee Schmidt) - At K-W Hospital, on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 1994, age 82 years, of Waterloo. Mrs. Sim was a member of Calvary Memorial United Church, Kitchener. Beloved wife of Edward (Ted); loving mother of Marilyn Bennett and her husband Bob, Margaret Little and her husband Phil, all of Waterloo; loved and proud grandmother of Michael and David Bennett and Christine, Scott and Andrew Little. Survived by two sisters, Bert Nutter and Elsie Hertzberger, both of Waterloo; one brother, Milt Schmidt and his wife Marie of Boston and a sister-in-law, Alma Schmidt of Waterloo. She was predeceased by her parents, Emma and Carl Schmidt and two brothers, Albert and Carl. Mrs. Sim's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, from 7-9 p.m. this evening (Thursday) and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home Saturday at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. Karl Sievert officiating. Internment to follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Donations to the K-W Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Friends and relatives are invited to the Reception Room of the funeral home following the committal service at the cemetery.
