- Mrs. Emil Simon, 71, of 15 Braun St. died today at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. A resident of Kitchener for the past 50 years, she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Warnholz. Surviving besides her husband, whom she married Nov. 3, 1917, are two sons, Wilfred and Ronald, both of Toronto; a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Violet) Dorscht of Kitchener; four brothers, August of Kitchener, Herman of Hespeler, Julius of Waterloo, and Marcus of Kitchener, and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother and four sisters. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where service will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. H. W. Opperman will officiate. Donations to the building fund of St. Peter's Lutheran Church will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
