    • KAY, Helen - Of Kitchener, surrounded by family at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 90 years of age. Helen Kay, a member of St. Mary's RC Church and the Catholic Women's League. Daughter of the late Karl Gross and Catherine Janik. Beloved wife of the late James Kay. Loving mother of James Kay and his wife Lee of Heidelberg, Carol LeDuc and her husband Peter of Kitchener, and Barbara Taylor and her husband Robert of Waterloo. Dear sister of Frances Krzewski and her husband August of Kitchener, Mary Peever of Kitchener. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Michelle LeDuc, Kimberly LeDuc, James Taylor, Stephan Taylor, Karen Dupuis, Debra Kay and James Kay; great-grandchildren, Mikayla Norcott and Noah Dupuis. Helen was predeceased by Joseph, Teresa, John, Michael, Stanley, Sally, Jerome and Caroline. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel (51 Benton St., Kitchener) on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's RC Church (56 Duke St., Kitchener) on Thursday, March 26, 2009 (today) at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Grand River Cancer Centre by calling the funeral home at 519-742-4481.
