    • Kenneth Pope

      Kenneth William Pope of 1347 Queen's Blvd. died Thursday at Victoria Hospital, London, Ont., after a brief illness. He was 45.

      Born in Stratford, Dec. 25, 1923, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Charles Pope. For the past four years Mr. Pope was president of Pan-Brick Ltd. He was an adherent of Forest Hill United Church. Surviving, besides his wife, the former Lois Beattie, are one son, Douglas of Sebringville; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Elizabeth) Gloade of New Hamburg, Mrs. John (Barbara) Carr of Kitchener and Leslie at home; one stepdaughter, Audrey Laverge at home; two brothers, Charles of London and Arthur of Stratford; one sister, Mrs. Arthur (Lois) Boon of Stratford.

      A memorial service was conducted at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home on Saturday, Rev. Bruce Underhill officiating.
