  Koch, Mrs. Elsie - At Central Park Lodge on Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, following a brief illness, Elsie Anna Louisa Koch (nee Bierwagen), age 89 years, of Kitchener. Mrs. Koch was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Queen Street) and also the Happy Gang. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Koch. Dear mother of David Koch of Waterloo, Sandra Kovrig of Kitchener, Neil Koch and his wife Erla of Caledonia, Stuart Koch and his wife Jeanne of King City. Lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Sister of Douglas Barnett and his wife Mary of Waterloo, Vernon and his wife Ruth of Kitchener and Hedwig Elliot of Auburn Hills, Michigan. Predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Louis, Otto and Harold and a sister, Ruth. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with Rev. Allan Scharlach officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Cremation. Memorial donations to the Building Fund of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
