Delilah married about 1858 to ALEXANDER MONROE. He was born in Montreal Sept. 12, 1822 and died in Detroit Dec. 12, 1885. They had four children: (1) William A. Monroe (Apr. 7, 1859- Aug. 11, 1893), born in Detroit but died in Denver, CO and buried in Mt. Elliott, Detroit.
(2) Mary E. Monroe (Nov. 1860-May 11, 1950) was married to William H. Carson. She is also buried with her parents.
(3) George Benjamin Monroe (July 29, 1864- Sept. 28, 1940) was born in Detroit and died in Grand Rapids, MI and buried there in Oakhill Cemetery. He married Ina LaMonte (June 14, 1863-Feb. 24, 1952). Their children were Grace (1889-1890) and George Harvey (1892-1935).
(4) Alexander A. Monroe (Oct. 9, 1875-after 1927) was briefly married to Velaria Moore, d/o William J. Moore and Jennie Weber. In 1912 he joined the army. His last known whereabouts was as a resident of "US National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers" in 1927 in Sawtelle, Los Angeles County, CA.
Delilah's second husband was FRANK MOTT (June 1837-Sept. 3, 1904), a millwright, native of MI. They were married about 1887, buried South Bingham Cemetery, St. Johns, Clinton Co., Michigan.
