    • Hubert Runstedler - Linwood - One of the township's highly esteemed farmers, Hubert Runstedler, 83, died Tuesday night at his home, one mile south of Linwood, following an attack of pneumonia. He had been ill five days. Mr. Runstedler farmed on the ninth line of Wellesley all his life. He was born on May 10, 1885, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Runstedler. Late last summer, with Mrs. Runstedler, he observed his golden wedding anniversary. The deceased attended St. Mary's RC Church in Linwood.

      Besides his wife, the former Annie Baessler, he is survived by five sons, Anthony, Herbert, John and Joseph, all residing near Linwood, and Ephriam on the homestead, three daughters, Sister Chrysologa of the Notre Dame Convent, Waterdown, Mrs. Vincent Walter, Macton, and Mrs. Thomas Doherty, near Linwood. Two brothers, Joseph Runstedler near Linwood, and Jacob at St. Clements, also survive, with 30 grandchildren. The funeral took place this (Friday) morning at 10 o'clock with a service at St. Clements RC Church. Burial in St. Clements Cemetery.
