- Death on Tuesday April 16th removed a respected resident of the town in the person of Nicholas Fetter, Mill Street, who passed away at his late residence after a long illness, aged 68 years. Deceased had been in failing health for over eight months,but the end came suddenly. He was born at Wellesley Ont., Apr. 23, 1850, and for the past 12 years had been a resident of Milton. Mr. Fetter has been a life-long member of the Methodist Church. He leaves to mourn his demise his wife, two sons and six daughters. Henry and John, both of Milton, and Mrs. J.Timbers, Mrs. J. Hilson and Mrs. W. Wilson,of Milton, Mrs. W. Hilson of Guelph, Mrs. J. Porter of Edmonton, Alta., and Miss Sylvia at home; also two grand-daughters, Mrs. S. Mountain of Ash and Miss Hazel Cardinell, at home.
The funeral took place from his late residence on Thursday, April 18th, at 2:30p.m. to Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. C.D. Draper conducted the service at the house and grave.
