  A-2-181 Joseph Smith The Last Will and Testament of Joseph Smith, late of the Township of Waterloo, labourer, who died on or about the fourteenth day of August 1865 at the Township of Waterloo and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at the Township of Waterloo, was proved and registered in the said Surrogate Sourt a true copy of which said Last Will and Testament is hereunder written and that the administration of all and singular the personal estate and effects, rights and credits of the said deceased…was granted by the aforesaid court to Catharine Smith of the Township of Waterloo, widow, the sole Executrix named in the said Will… I publish this to be my Last Will and Testament in the name of God amen. First, my desire is that all my just debts shal[sic] be paid. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Catharine Smith all my Real Estate that I am in Possession of at my death, to have to her own use forever.l I also give and bequeath all my personal property except Five Dollars to my wife Catharine Smith to have and hold to her own use or as much thered[sic] as will be left after my just debts are paid. I also give and bequeath to my daughter Catharine Smith five dollars wich she is to have six month after my decease. And I do hereby appoint and autherise my wife Catharine Smith to be Exatrix[sic] of this my Last Will and Testament, and do impower her to sell or dispose of my real estate and give and Exacute a deed of conveyance as I would do my self if she thinks fit so to do. I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made. Dated this first day of December one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine. Witnessed by ?????? and Joseph ??
