- A-2-16 John Hachburn Last Will and Testament of John Hachburn late of the Township of Woolwich, Carpenter, who died on or about the fourth day of February, 1859 at the Township of Woolwich and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at Woolwich. Administration of said will granted to Philip Knecktel, Yeoman, and George Hachburn, Carpenter, of the Township of Waterloo, the Executors named in the said Will….
In the name of God Amen…I John Hachburn of the Township of Woolwich…Carpenter, being of sound mind and memory blessed by the almighty God for the same do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following. My Executors are to sell the property and with the proceeds pay my just debts, and what is afterwards left, I wish to dispose of in the following manner. I will unto my beloved wife Margaret one third if she get married, but if she remains single or unmarried during the course of her natural life, she is to have the use of it all. I will unto my beloved children, Henry and Catharine, the remaining two thirds to be divided equally between them. In witness whereof, I the said John Hachburn have hereunto set my hand and seal and have appointed my trusty and beloved friends Philip Knechtel and George Hachburn to be the executors of this my Last Will and Testament…
