    • The death of Henry S. Rieck, 82, occurred suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Schmitt, R.R. 3, Elmira, Monday night.

      A well-known farmer near Breslau for many years, Mr. Rieck was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rieck and was born in Kitchener, Feb. 3, 1864. His wife, the former Sarah Kramp, died Oct. 15, 1943.

      Surviving are five sons, Ervin of Kossuth, Harvey of Kitchener, Milton of Waterloo, Henry of Mosboro and Norman of Hespeler; and two daughters, Mrs. John (Elma) Paulitzki of Hespeler and Mrs. John (Melinda) Schmitt of Elmira. Thirty grandchildren, 11 great-grand-children, two brothers and two sisters also survive.

      The funeral will be held from the residence at R.R. 3, Elmira on Thurs-day at 1: 30 p.m. to the Cressman Mennonite Church, Bresiau for ser-vice at three o'clock. Rev. L. H. Kalbfleisch of Elmira will officiate. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
