  Jacob L. Kinzie, "was born June 15th, 1828. On October 17th, 1854, he was married to Anna, daughter of Rev. Daniel Hoch of the Twenty, Lincoln County, Ontario. She as born May 15th, 1828. They reside on his father's and grandfather's old place near Doon. To them was born a family of three children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
