SHANTZ, Keith M. - At his residence, on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1992, Keith McCauley Shantz, age 76 years, of Kitchener.
Mr. Shantz was founder and former owner of Morval-Durofoam Ltd. A member of Trinity United Church, past chairman of Parks & Recreation for the City of Kitchener, past chairman of the Centre In The Square, a director of the K-W Community Foundation, a director of the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery and a life member of the University of Waterloo President's Committee.
Beloved husband of Winifred; dear father of Diana Smith and her husband Douglas and Barbara Farrell, all of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, Adam Smith, Robyn, Christopher and Howie Farrell. Also survived by his aunt, Doris Pearen of Kitchener and his cousin, Sam Shantz and his wife Jean of Waterloo.
Predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Josephine Shantz.
A private family service will be held on Thursday, with Dr. Rod Sykes officiating. Cremation has taken place. A public memorial service will held in Trinity United Church at a later date to be announced.
