  Mrs. John S. Frey ST. JACOBS.\emdash The funeral of the late Mrs. John S. Frey was held on Monday morning. After a short service at her late residence, the memorial service was held in the Conestogo meeting house near the Three Bridges, which was largely attended. She is survived by her husband, five daughters and seven sons: Mrs. Henry Bowman, Lexington, Mrs. Onias Weber, Hawkesville. Mrs. Allen Diefenbecker, 8th of Peel, Mrs. Amos Bowman and Mrs. Jacob Bowman of St. Jacobs. The sons are: Israel of Conestogo, Aaron, Tilman, Emanuel and Allen of St. Jacobs, John and Ezra of Heidelberg. One sister, Mrs. John Metzger, and one brother, Mr. Aaron Hoffman of Heidelberg, also survive. Waterloo Chronicle 2 Aug 1940 pg 6
