- EBY, Mildred - Passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at Grand River Hospital, with her family by her side. Mildred Eby (nee Ottman) in her 90th year was the beloved wife of the late Carl Eby. Dear mother of Ray Eby and his wife Patricia, and Carol and her husband Norman Geng. Loving grandmother to Carl (Carol) Eby, Steven (Corrie) Eby, Jenny (Collin) Belenger, Lori and her friend Karen, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Survived by brother, Wilfred Ottman and his wife Helen. Predeceased by brothers, Roy Ottman, Robert Ottman and sister, Betty McPeak. Mildred was a charter member of St. Stephens. Mildred's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday (today) at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 749-8467. Funeral service on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Pastor William Schaefer assisted by Mike Chow officiating. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to St. Stephens Lutheran Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available by calling the funeral home 749-8467).
