  Hummel, Jerome Edward - Of 28 Noel Cres., Kitchener, at St. Mary's Hospital, on Sunday, Dec. 21, 1986, after a brief illness, 77 years of age. A member of St. Anthony Daniel RC Church and a retired employee of Kaufman Footwear. Husband of Hattie (nee Schneider) Hummel; father of Ron and his wife Cecile, Lloyd and his wife Marg, Carol Hummel, Tom and his wife Pat, Dianne and her husband Jack O'Reilly, all of Kitchener; brother of Frank and his wife Anne, George and his wife Eileen, Alma and her husband Bill Kampman, Helen and her husband Wilfred Collins and brother-in-law of Dalton Moore, all of Kitchener. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Marie Moore, as well as his parents, Elizabeth and Edward Hummel. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., will continue until 11: 30 am on Tuesday, when prayers will be recited at the funeral home, after which transfer will be made to St. Anthony Daniel RC church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon.
