  Mrs. Robert Bender Mrs. Robert Bender, 33, of 28 Alexander Ave., Waterloo, died yesterday at K-W Hospital after a short illness. Born Myrtle Jean Johnston, May 8, 1919 in Elmira, she was a daughter of Mrs. Jennie Johnston and the late Wittis Johnston of Elmira. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Waterloo, and St. Quentin chapter, IODE. Surviving besides her husband, Robert (Pete) Bender, are two daughters, Shirley and Barbara; one stepson, Ronald; two brothers, Harry and Bruce Johnston of Kitchener; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Olive) Carter and Mrs. Oscar (Wilma) Koebel of Kitchener, and Mrs. Lewis (Viola) Patterson of Galt. The body is at the Walsh Funeral Home, Waterloo, where the funeral will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Waterloo Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. W.O.
