  Signalman Herman W. Jinssen of Preston, killed in Action overseas probably in Sicily, Signalman Jinssen believed to have been in Sicily. In a recent letter to his parents Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Jinssen of Preston, he said he was on the water and that "you will soon know where I am." BORN IN HOLLAND Another Preston boy, Pte. K. Johnston, a dispatch rider, was reported injured in Sicily several weeks ago. Born in Holland. Jinssen came to Preston with his parents when he was a year old. Prior to the war he was employed at the Canadian Office and School Furniture facto, at Preston. He also served in the Royal Canadian Navy for three years.
