  Mrs. Henry G. Schmidt The death of Mrs. Henry G. Schmidt occurred at the home of her son, Edwin, in Kitchener, at the age of 77 years. The late Mrs. Schmidt had resided in North Easthope until six months ago when she went to Kitchener to make her home with her son. She had been in failing health for nearly three years. Deceased was born at Amulree and was a daughter of the late John Becker and Elizabeth Krug. She was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church, North Easthope. and an honorary member of the Ladies' Aid of that church. Her husband predeceased her in 1936. Surviving are three sons, Edwin, Kitchener, and Austin and Henry, North Easthope; one sister, Mrs. Mary Schmidt, Kitchener, and one great-grandchild. A daughter, Viola, died in 1934. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon from the home of her son, Austin Schmidt of North Easthope, to St. James' Lutheran Church for service and interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. H.
