Notes |
- Miss Lavina Kropf, daughter of the late Jonathan Kropf, of this town, has been accepted as a nurse in the Saskatchewan hospital unit for overseas service. They recently left Saskatoon for the old country. There were seven hundred applications and twenty seven were chosen, of which Miss Kropf is one. She took her training in the Guelph General Hospital and a post graduate course in a hospital in New York City. For the past few years she had charge of a ward in the General Hospital in Regina. Messrs. Herbert and Jacob Kropf, of this town, are her brothers.
