  KNIPFEL, Alfred (Alf) - Died on Sunday, March 31, 1996, at K-W Health Centre, Grand River Hospital, age 82 years, of Waterloo. Husband of Betty Knipfel; father of Gerry of Paradise Lake; grandfather of Kimberly and Leslie and four great-grandchildren. Brother of John of Waterloo, Walter and his wife Irene, Fred and his wife Erika, all of Petersburg and Howard and his wife Margaret of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents, Fred and Elizabeth Knipfel and one brother, Harold. Mr. Knipfel was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church and was an organist at the church for 20 years. He was supervisor of maintenance for the Board of Education retiring 18 years ago. Mr. Knipfel's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held Wednesday at 1: 30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Margaret and Louisa Street, Rev.
