  COWAN, James Albert-Passed away on Monday September 24, 1984, at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospilal. James Cowan, of 19 Glenmorris St., Cambridge, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruby Eagle. Dear father of Douglas Cowan of Cambridge, Gordon Cowan of Brantford and Peter Cowan of Cambridge, Russell Johnstone of Cambridge, Christine (Mrs. Earl Fullon), Susan (Mrs. Kevin Ryan), Peggy (Mrs. Russell Bygrave), all of Cambridge, Marigold (Mrs. George Harris) of Peltawa, dear brother of Faye Durrant, Rita McNamara and Vera Maddever all of Toronto and Helen Botling of Bracebridge. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Mr. Cowan was predeceased by a brother Gordon. Resting at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 S1. Andrews St., Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Fun- eral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday September 26 at 2 p.m. Inlermeni Mountview Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
