  MRS. ELIAS BAUMAN Mrs. Magdalena Bauman, widow of Elias Bauman, died at her home at Kantz Sunday morning from the effects of a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Bauman was born January 5. 1850, and was aged 79 years. She was a native of Canada and came to Sny- der county with Mr. Bauman many years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Mary. at home, and a son. Moses Bauman, of California, and also a sister, who resides in Canada Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon and interment was in the Stauffer's Mennonite cemetery al Stauffer's Church, near Fort Trevorton.
