  Harold E. Heller, an active Mason who had been a practising optometrist in Kitchener for 50 years, died at K-W Hospital Wednesday following a brief illness. He was 77. Mr. Heller was born in Kitchener, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Heller and lived all his life in the Twin Cities. He recently retired to the Parkwood Manor home for senior citizens in Waterloo. Mr. Heller was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, a life member of Grand River Masonic Lodge and a member of the Kitchener chapter of Royal Arch Masons. He married the farmer Effie Wallace on Nov. 26, 1919, in Toronto. She died in December, 1963. Surviving are a son, Douglas of Sudbury; a daughter, Mr& Stanley (Phyllis) Schreiter of Waterloo; a brother, Edward of Kitchener; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Wallace of Toronto, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Robert and a brother, Harry. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. P. R. O'Driscoll officiating.
