  Schafer, Mrs. John (Louise) - On Tuesday, June 6, 1978, at Sunnyside Home, the former Louise Dickert, age 89 years. Born at Anton, Ont., and formerly a resident of Park Street, Kitchener. Dear wife of John Schafer; mother of Edna (Mrs. James Cushing) of Kitchener, Mrs. Irene Slack of Cambridge (G), Carl and Stuart, both of Kitchener; sister of Mrs. Tina Demerling of Vancouver, B.C.; also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her father, Valentine Dickert; her mother, the former Anna Wagner and 12 brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral and committal service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Thursday at 3 p.m. Herbert Katzmier will conduct the service. Interment will be made in Memory Gardens.
