  Peter Lather By Record Correspondent CROSSHILL, May 3 - Peter Lather, 66, died in K-W Hospital yesterday after a week's illness. He was born on a farm in Mornington Township and for some time conducted a blacksmith shop in Nithburg. Thirty-three years ago he came to Crosshill where he operated a blacksmith shop but latterly farmed and conducted a gas station business. Twice married, his first wife, formerly Catherine Huras, died in 1923. Thirteen years ago he married the former Mattie Boshart. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Charles Yundt, Miss Florence, both of Kitchener and Miss Eileen at home, one son, John of Crosshill, four brothers, Conrad, Suttons Bay, Mich., Joseph, Reed City, Mich., Jacob, Mancelona, Mich., and Louis, Birch run, Mich., and one sister Mrs. Lena Brandon, Saskatchewan. Two brothers predeceased him. The funeral will be held Saturday with private services at the home at 2 pm followed by public services at St. Paul's Missouri Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Remains are resting at Milton Ruther's Funeral Home Wellesley until Friday at 5:30 pm when they will be removed to the home. Rev. C.A. Kramer, pastor of the church will officiate.
