  Alice Marie Koch passed away unexpectedly at Conestoga Lodge Retirement Home at the age of 87. Alice is survived by her siblings Bill (Fay) of Midland, Raymond (Lucy) of Kitchener, Ruth Lishman of California and sister-in-law Arlene Koch of Kitchener, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Lincoln and Emma (Kienzle) Koch, brother Leonard (1989), sister Dorothy Malone (1987), sister Phyllis Ransom (2001) and brother Walter (2008), three brothers who died in their youth and brother-in-law Jack Lishman (2001) and sister-in-law Lucy Koch (1990). For many years Alice resided in Conestogo and was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Conestogo. Alice's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Friday from 12:30 \endash 1:15 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. A funeral service to celebrate Alice's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 14, 2008, at 1:30 pm. Pastor Monika Wiesner officiating. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau followed by a reception at the funeral home.
