- ROTH, Mrs. Erma Eileen - On Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995, at her residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg.
She was formerly of Ailsa Craig and London, Ont. and was born in Wilmot township 74 years ago, a daughter of the late Michael and Nancy (Gascho) Roth. She was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church where she was a member of the WMSC. Erma had taught bible club to young girls and community summer bible school in Ailsa Craig. She had been a foster mother in her earlier years and enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing crafts as her hobbies.
Beloved wife of John L. Roth of Nithview Home, New Hamburg, whom she married September 12, 1946. Loving mother of Marlin and his wife Louise of Waldeim, Sask., and Grace and her husband John Grzybouski of London. Dear grandma to Lara Lee and Christopher. Also remembered by one sister, Gladys Roth of Ailsa Craig. She was predeceased by one brother, Lloyd G. and his wife Alma Roth and one sister, Seleda and her husband Ed Roth.
Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Friday, Feb. 17, 1995 from 7-9., Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until Sunday at noon, when transfer will be made to St. Agatha Mennonite Church for the service at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Emmanuel George officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Agatha Mennonite Church, Mennonite Central Committee or the Alzheimer Society.
