  MRS. HENRY HEYER. Catherine Mogk, widow of the late Henry Heyer, died early Sunday morning, June rith, 1916, at her home near Lingelbach Church, always having been in good health and her sickness being of only several days, the end came unexpected to the community. Her affliction was brought on by old age. She was born in North Easthope township on the old homestead, where she lived until shortly before her death. In 1858 she married Henry Heyer, who predeased her 34 years, leaving her in widowhood to care for a large family. This union was blessed with nine children. Three predeceased her, one dying in infancy In 1863 she was converted to God, joining the Oetzel Church. At the time of her death she was a member of the South Easthope Church. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical Association, alway having an open heart for God's cause. At the age of 76 years, 2 months, 15 days, she died resigned to God to her heavenly home. To mourn her loss she leaves two sons, John on the homestead, David in Alberta; four daugh. ters, Mrs. Martin Mohr, Mrs. John Werner and Mrs. Wm. Dewing, of North Easthope, and Mrs. Geo. Flinz of Logan; thirty-one grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host. of other relatives and friends. The funeral services were held on Tues. day, June 13th, in the Lingelbach Church, conducted by Rev. C. R. Kauth, assisted by Rev. S. E. Schrader, of Alsfeldt, and Rev, N.. Reibling, of Oetzel. Interment was made in the Oetzel cemetery.
