  Mrs. Barbara Lichty, Wellesley, died Jan. 16 at the Bonnie Brae Nursing Home, Tavistock, where she had been a patient for the last two years. She was 79. She was born in Wellesley Township, June 25, 1888, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wagler. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley. She was married to Daniel Lichty, Nov. 23, 1911. Surviving are one son, Harvey Carrick, Lucknow; one daughter, Mrs. Ezra (Katie) Jantzi, RR 2, Wellesley; one brother John Wagler, RR 1, Wellesley; four sisters, Mrs. Ezra (Elizabeth) Leis, and Mrs. Jacob (Nancy) Lichty, both of Wellesley, Mrs. Joseph (Catherine) Lichty and Mrs. David (Madeline) Gascho, both of Millbank; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Alvin, and also by three brothers, and two sisters. Service was conducted Jan. 19 in Wellesley. A memorial service was held at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Chruch.
