    • WOLFE, Douglas Bruce - Suddenly at Alexandra and Marine General Hospital, Goderich, Ont. on Friday, September 18, 2015 Doug Wolfe of Meneset on the Lake, went home to be with our Lord. He is now released from his long time suffering. He was in his 86th year. Douglas was a printer, working in the production department of the Kitchener-Waterloo Record for over 26 years. He was proud to be a member of the 25 year club. His free spirit encouraged him to run and for many years was a member of the running club at the Waterloo Y. He ran over 23 marathon races, finishing in Boston three times. His other passion was his skill of playing the keyboards, and his entertaining of many with this gift. Loving husband of Dianne (Bristow) Wolfe. Predeceased by his parents. Two brothers, Art and Jimmy and his children Barbara Joan Wolfe, and Thomas Bruce Wolfe and his wife Marilyn Wolfe. Also by Wanda (Hymmen) Wolfe. Survived by his sister Blanche Hess of Banff Alberta. Ann and Brian Jobes and Charles DeWit. Doug is stepfather of Lee & Brad Wigle, Tennessee and Alice Hymmen of Waterloo. Dear Poppa of Jade and Amber Wolfe, Falyn & Greg Wilgocki, Jacob and Natalie Wigle; Eric and Colin Gies and Sarah Jobes. There are four great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A family visitation will be held in the fellowship room at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 followed by the Celebration of Life at Bethel Pentecostal Assembly, 321 Bayfield Rd., Goderich. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the mission, Village of Hope, Zimbabway through the church office.
