- James Robert Ellis - By Record Correspondent - Ayr
James Robert Ellis, 42, of Ayr died early today at his home from a heart attack. Associated with the Reliable Pump Service at Galt, he had been at work yesterday. Mr. Ellis was born in Plattsville, a son 61 the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Ellis, and attended Washington, Ont., school. He had resided in Ayr for 21 years. He and his wife would have celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary today. Mr. Ellis was an adherent of the United Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Jean Wood; one daughter, Darlene; one brother, Thomas of Waterloo; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Grieves of Toronto, Mrs. Hazel Stewart of Woodstock, Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Keutsch of Stratford and Jean Ellis of Kitchener. The body is at the Ball Funeral Home, Ayr, where service will be conducted Saturday at 2: 30 p.m. Interment will be in Ayr cemetery.
