    • King, Blanche - Well known Ayr resident, Blanche M. King (Mitchell), passed away suddenly, at her residence in Ayr, Tuesday, April 5, 1994, in her 68th year. Predeceased by husband, Alex King (1985). Dear mother of Barbara and her husband Bruce Cassel of Ayr, Brian of Kitchener, Micheal and his wife Rose, Linda and her husband Bob Savage, all of Paris, Brenda and her husband Norman Chesney of Ayr and John and his wife Karen of Paris. Dear sister of Howard Mitchell, Helen Pipe and Stella Smith, all of Ayr and Clarence "Sam" of New Dundee. Predeceased by brother, Richard Mitchell, and sister, Laura Hogg. Also survived by 20 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Mrs. King was involved in the Ayr Seniors' Club and operated the Thistle Cafe in Ayr for many years. Friends will be received at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 273 Northumberland St., Ayr Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where complete funeral service will be held Friday, April 8 at 11a.m. Rev. Calhoun of Christ Church officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
