- The sad death occurred in Ayr, on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 8.30 a.m., of William Lloyd Bell, eldest son of Mrs. J. J. Hodgson, aged four years and five months. The little fellow, while playing on Monday morning, accidently fell backward into a pail of boiling water, the scalds from which resulted in his death. Much sympathy is extended by the community to the bereaved ones in their sad loss. The funeral will take place on Saturday at 2.30 p.m., to Ayr cemetery.
