  Mrs. Charles P. Ventham Passes One of Ayr's most respected senior citizens, Mrs. Charles P. Ventham died at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, early Monday morning in her 84th year. The former Ada Maria Cooper, she was born in Ayr, a daughter of the late Edward Cooper and Mary Tubb. At the age of seven she went to England with her parents, returning to Ayr 18 years later. She was a valued member of Knox United Church and a life member of the Woman's Missionary Society. Mrs. Ventham sang in the church choir for many years, Predeceased by her husband, Charles Perren Ventham, in 1914, the late Mrs. Ventham is survived by one son, Vernon of Ayr; three daughters, Miss Vera of Toronto, (Mary) Mrs. Sydney Stearn of Nut Mountain, Saskatchewan, and Miss Dulcie of Banswara, South Rasjosthan, India. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Funeral service was held today (Wednesday) at the W. O. Ball Funeral Home, with interment in the Ayr Cemetery. Rev. W. J. V.
