  Vera Ventham Former Ayr resident Vera Ventham passed away at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, on Tuesday, February 20, 2001. She was in her 93rd year. Born in England, a daughter of Charles Ventham and Ada Cooper, the family moved to Canada in 1919. Miss Ventham was employed for 50 years with Dr. E. J. Clifford - first at his practice in Ayr and later when he taught internal medicine at the University of Toronto. She had resided in Toronto until moving to Cambridge within the past year. Predeceased by a sister, Miss Dulcie Ventham. Surviving are her twin brother Vern of Preston; a sister Mrs. Sidney (Mary) Stearn of Chilliwack, B.C.; nephews Charles of Mt. Forest and Brian of New Brunswick; and nieces Joyce Coughlin of Preston and Muriel of Toronto. Private funeral service was held in Toronto. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
