  Howard Mitchell - The death occurred at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, May 8, 1999 of Scott Street, Ayr resident, Howard Sydney Mitchell. He was in his 78th year. Born in Drumbo he was the son of the late Mata Brutzski and Richard Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell farmed for many years on the Townline west of Ayr. He will be missed by his wife, Jean Cochrane; his son Wayne and his wife Marilyn of Sherwood Park, Alberta; and his sister, Stella Smith of Ayr. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Karen Mitchell in 1979 and by sisters Laura Hogg, Helen Pipe, Blanche King and brothers Clarence and Richard. Funeral service will be held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home today (Wednesday) at 1: 30 p.m. Reverend Fred Hagle of Knox United Church officiating. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
