- Alexander G. King - A long-time Ayr resident, Alex Gerald King passed away in Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, May 7th. He was in his 66th year. Mr. King was born in Little Badora, N.S.; he was a welder by trade. Surviving are his wife the former Blanche Marguerite Mitchell, three sons Brian of Paris, Michael and John of Ayr; 3 daughters Barbara (Mrs. Bruce Cassel) of Ayr, Mrs. Linda Poll, Paris, Brenda (Mrs. Norman Chesney), Ayr; 15 grandchildren; one sister and four brothers in Quebec. Resting at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home today (Wed.) afternoon and evening. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 2: 00 p.m. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
