    • MOORE, Keith Alexander

It is with sadness and love that the family of Keith Alexander Moore say farewell. Keith passed away at the wonderful age of 96 on July 13, 2016 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. He is predeceased by his wife Margaret (Taylor) Moore and survived by his children Keith Jr. (Marj), Peggy (Bob), Joan (Doug) and Dorothy. He and Margaret cherished their grandchildren; Brent (deceased), Brad (Sheree) Brian, Lynne (Matt), Craig (deceased), Bryan (Mairi), Erin (Aron), Matthew (Donna) and Jenny (Vic). They were the proud great-grandparents of Jocelyn, AJ, Owen, Ilyse, Garrett, Noah, Ava, Chelsey, Megan, Lauren (Mike) and Wesley. Early on, Keith trained as a welder and later used this expertise and talent for connecting with people to teach welding at the army trade school during WWll. He established "Moore's Welding" and became a successful business man. After selling this business he became a secondary school tech teacher. Keith was a lifetime member of the Alma Masonic Lodge. He liked to build everything, design and create ornamental wrought iron furniture and to travel to many parts of the world. He was an avid joke teller and storyteller, with an amazing memory for the details of his long and interesting life. He loved and was proud of his Scottish heritage. His children welcome friends and family to a celebration of Keith's life at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Friday, July 15, 2016, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 2 p.m. A service will be held in the Chapel by the Alma Masonic Lodge on Saturday at 1: 30 p.m. Interment to take place at Ayr Cemetery.
