    • Funeral of Robert Elliott

      The funeral of the late Robert Elliott was held this (Wednesday) afternoon at 3 o'clock, with service at his home on McRae street and interment in Ayr Cemetery. Rev. J. W. Currie of Knox United Church conducted the services, and the following six fellow workers of the carpenter shop at the John Watson Mfg. Co. acted as pallbearers: Wm. House, John C. Kyle, Charles Holdaway, Edward Whitson, Donald Watson and Bert Melvin. The funeral was largely attended, and there were many beautiful floral tributes to bear witness to the high esteem in which the late Mr. Elliott was held.
