  Mrs. Edward Mathison - The death occurred in Toronto on Monday of Mrs. Edward Mathison, aged 53 years, after an illness of 19 weeks. Her maiden name was Charlotte Wismer, she being the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Wismer, former residents of Ayr. The Mathison family left this community about 30 years ago for Orillia, and moved to Toronto last November. Besides her husband, she is survived by six children, five sisters and two brothers. The funeral will take place to Ayr Cemetery this (Thursday) afternoon, with service at Knox Untied Church at 2 o'clock. The Ayr News Apr 19 1941 pg 8
