- Frederick Paulson Passes
A resident of Ayr since 1952, Frederick Harrison, 334 Swan St., died Saturday, August 9th at his home. He was 55. Born in West Auckland. County Durham, England, Mr. Harrison came to Galt from England in 1928, moving to Ayr 23 years ago. He was an employee of Sheldon's Engineering company, Cambridge, for 17 years. where he was employed as a spray painter. A member of Christ Anglican Church, Ayr. Mr. Harrison was a was veteran, having served overseas during World War 11 with the Dufferin-Haldimand Rifles and the Irish Regiment of Canada. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 121, Galt. Surviving is his wife, the former Edna Hawkins, one daughter Mrs. Ray Snell (Dori Ann) of Ayr, and one grandson Timothy. A brother Harry. of R.R. 5, Waterford and a sister Mrs. William Holmes ( Alice) of Waterford, also survive. Funeral service was held at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Galt on Monday afternoon. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Robb, Donald Johnston, William Welsh, Howard Ronald, Harold Addk and Robert Wells.
