  Mrs. Bessie (Betty) Luce Mrs. Bessie (Betty) Luce of Cambridge passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 27, 1982. She was in her 81st year. The former Betty Cress, she was born in Ayr, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Cress. She had been a resident of Cambridge for the past 20 years after spending a time in London, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Roy Elgin Luce and dear mother of George of Burlington. Also survived by one brother, Clarence (Ted) Cress of Mississauga and four grandchildren, David, Laurie, Jennifer and Melanie. Predeceased by three brothers and five sisters. Funeral service was held on Saturday, May 29th from the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, Cambridge. Interment in Ayr cemetery. The Ayr News 2 Jun 1982 pg 11
