- James L . Sweet
James Leslie Sweet of Cambridge, passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, June 28, 1997. He was in his 90th year. Jim was a longtime active amateur radio operator #VE3AAI; a dedicated Shriner; and active in the Masonic Lodge #257. Beloved husband of the late Frances Belle (nee Smith) (1977). Dear father of Pauline and her husband Bill Burt of North Bay, Glenn and his wife Lynn Sweet and James Sweet all of Ayr. Loving grandfather of Leslie and husband Bob Manary, Andrew, Eric and wife Jen, Karen and husband Ron Nogiec and Gina; four great-grandchildren, Meghan, Douglas, Ryan and Jordan. Also survived by Harry Culelland and Osborne Sim. Predeceased by a granddaughter, Shelley (1985). Rested at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Cambridge were funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel today (Wednesday) at 1.30 p.m. with Rev. John Deyarmond officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery
