  Mrs. Ben Ibele, Swan Street, Ayr, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday. She was in her 58th year. The former Lily May Eichler, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eichler. She was born in New Hamburg. In 1937 she married Ben Ibele and since that time the couple has resided in Ayr. Mrs. Ibele was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Stewart of Preston and Ben at home; a daughter Mrs. Lucien (Nancy) Joron of Oakville; five sisters, Mrs. Martha Witts of Stratford, Mrs. Alfred (Sarah) Cavey and Mrs. Neil (June) Garland, both of New Hamburg, Mrs. Howard (Mary) Foe of Preston and Mrs. Victor (Mabel) Nablo of Kitchener; five brothers, Charles, James and Calvin, all of Kitchener, Albert and Rolland, both of Toronto; also eight grandchildren. Funeral service was held today (Wednesday) from the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris. Rev. D. E. Willis of Ayr officiated. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wallace Gillespie, Lloyd Henderson, Clarence Snell, James Patterson, Robert Todd and Ed Hachey. The Ayr News Jan 6 1972 pg 8
