    • Death of Mrs. Allan Cassady

      A sad death took place in Brantford on Monday when the young wife of Allan H. Cassady passed away after an illness of about a year, leaving a family of two small children. Mr. and Mrs. Cassady were married about three or four years ago and were living in Paris when the deceased fell ill. Some five weeks ago who was taken to the Brantford hospital and there passed away as already stated. She was born in London, Eng., her maiden name being Alice Marie Edwards. No relatives reside in this country except for family of a brother, he having enlisted and gone back, leaving his family at Moose Jaw, Sask. The deceased was in her 22nd year. The funeral took place yesterday from the residence of Mr. Charles Cassady, Blenheim, interment being made in the Ayr cemetery. Much sympathy will be extended to Mr. Cassady in his sore bereavement.

      Died in Brantford, on Monday, August 14, 1916, at 2 o'clock p. m. Alice Marie Edwards beloved wife of Allan H. Cassady in her 22nd year. The funeral will take place from the home of Mr. Charles Cassady, Lot 3, Con. 7 Blenheim Township on Wednesday, August 16th, at 2. p. m. to Ayr Cemetery.
