  Mrs. Charles Gunn Passes A lifelong resident of the community, Mrs. Charles Gunn passed away at her home on Swan St; Ayr, on Monday. She was 72 years of age The former Margaret Christina Cochrane, she was born on the Cochrane homestead, just south of Ayr, now occupied by Alden M. Cochrane. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cochrane. She had been a resident of the village for many years, and was a valued member of Knox United Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are a sister, Mrs. Thomas Ritchie (Grace) of RR 2, Paris, and two brothers, Ernest and Robert of Ayr. She was predeceased by a brother, Marshall. Funeral service was held today (Wednesday) at 3.30 p.m., with interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Aug 11 1966 pg 9
