  George Waterman George Valentine Waterman of Mitchell Street, Ayr passed away at the K-W Hospital on Wednesday, October 12th, 1988. He was in his 77th year. Dear husband of Phyllis (Leiska) Waterman. Loving father of Shirley and her husband Larry Harrington, Kenneth and his wife Carol, all of Kitchener. Stepfather of the Rev. Earl and his wife Gloria Leiska, London; Raymond and his wife June Leiska, Winnipeg, Manitoba; Marie and her husband Gerald Rivais of Ayr, Georgina and her husband Hugh Jarvis of RR 1, Bluevale. Also survived by six grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, 13 step great-grandchildren. Brother of Mary Smith, Arthur and Robert Waterman, all of Cambridge (G); Arlie, Lions Head; Alvin, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his father Arthur and his mother Anna (1988) and step-grandson Michael Leiska (1964). Memorial service on Saturday, October 29, 1988 at 11: 00 a.m. at Christ Anglican Church, Ayr with the Rev. W. Roy Shepherd, rector assisted by the Rev. Earl Leiska, St. George's, Thorndale officiating. No visitation. Cremation. Interment of Ashes Ayr Cemetery. Arrangement entrusted to Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg.
